Ticketing and live event services have evolved rapidly over the last few years.   

As someone with over 20 years’ experience, I have an extensive knowledge base of the entire "front of house" operation in the live event space. I can help make your event a success, whether it's a capacity of 200 or 20,000.

Ticketing

As I mentioned my background is in ticketing, mostly in management level roles. As such, I am experienced in the following:


  • Building events in the ticketing system. 
  • Collaborating with promoters and other key stakeholders on scalings and pricing to maximize revenue.
  • Managing ticket inventory.
  • Preparing various ticketing and financial reports along with daily bank deposits and ticket seller reconciliations.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and directing staff.
  • Resolving ticketing and equipment issues.
  • Creating templates and “how-to” guides.

Event Services

In recent years, I have become well-versed in many other aspects of live events. I have worked events ranging from a 200-person capacity to a 20,000-person capacity and everything in between. These include concerts, comedy shows, sporting events, music festivals, and drive-in shows. 


Areas of focus include: 

  

  • Entry gate management (including ticket scanning, bag checks, magnetometer operation and line queuing).
  • Credential access control. 
  • Servicing and executing VIP package programs.
  • Pop-up box office management including (mobile) ticket resolution and equipment set up.
  • Training and directing event day staff/ushers on all of the above. 


  



Recent Projects

Ticket Operations Manager, National Football League

 Manage and staff the onsite box office for the Super Bowl Experience, the NFL’s interactive theme park that travels to the Super Bowl host city each year and provide onsite ticket resolution support for the Super Bowl game itself. 

Client Services Consultant, Flicket

 Help Flicket ticketing platform develop their client management strategy as they expand their footprint in North America.

Zone Manager, BOM Advisers.

 Manage and staff a designated location of events such as the US Open Championship, Genesis Invitational (PGA Tour) and NCAA Final Four Fan Fest, including oversight of box office, entry gate and hospitality areas. 

Ticketing Director, BeachLife Organization

Prepare reports, build promos, liaise with ticketing platform, staff and manage onsite box office operation for two music festivals, BeachLife Festival and BeachLife Ranch Festival in Redondo Beach, CA. 

Staffing Manager, Stadiumlinks

Recruit, hire, train, and manage event staff of up to 60 people for traveling experiential golf event.

 I also consult on longer-term projects such as the procurement of a new ticketing system, building and managing events & inventory in the ticketing system, scaling & pricing of events and setting up ticketing system hardware.
